The library of the Centro Estudios Lorquianos compiles a collection of over 5000 books and around fifty different magazines of the time, most of them are single issues or facsimile editions. This highly specialized background in the life and work of Federico García Lorca, has an important section dedicated to other members of his generation too, and the cultural and political life of his time.
Of great interest to scholars and people interested in Lorca and his time, editions ranging from the late nineteenth century to the latest publications are preserved.
The library of Federico García Lorca is part of the general catalog of the Deputy of Granada, accessible through the Network of Public Libraries in Andalusia.

The archive is divided in several funds or collections, each of them we can find a variety of documentaries, to highlight is the collection of Lorca´s manuscripts, letters, drawings and some works of his contemporaries as José Caballero, Dalí, Gregorio Prieto, Benjamín Palencia, … programs and playbills, photographs, films and sound, press, etc. It goes from the early twentieth century up today. It is an opened file because there are constantly new incorporations from donations and purchases.
